Tiwi

Tiwi is a coastal settlement in Kwale County, located between the Likoni ferry crossing point and Diani Beach on the South Coast. It sits approximately 20 kilometres south of Mombasa along the A14 highway. Tiwi has a mix of beachfront tourism properties and residential plots, with a lower density of development than Diani. The area is served by the A14 Likoni–Lunga Lunga highway and is accessible via the Likoni ferry from Mombasa Island. Property and land transactions in Tiwi are administered by Kwale County and the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning. As with all Kenyan coastal land, buyers should verify the title, conduct a registry search, and confirm zoning and any caveats before purchase.
