Galu

Galu is a coastal locality on the South Coast of Kwale County, situated south of Diani Beach along the Indian Ocean shoreline. The Mwachema (Galu) River marks the southern boundary of the Diani stretch and the entry to the Galu area. Galu is predominantly residential and has a lower density of tourism establishments than Diani, with a mix of private beachfront residences and smaller guesthouses. Access is via the Diani–Galu road, which connects to the A14 highway at Ukunda. Land and property transactions in Galu fall under Kwale County jurisdiction and the Ministry of Lands title registry.
