Diani

Diani Beach is a coastal settlement on the Indian Ocean in Kwale County, approximately 30 kilometres south of Mombasa. It is situated along the South Coast stretch of beach between the Mwachema River (Galu) and the Ukunda urban centre. Diani is recognised as one of Kenya's principal beach tourism destinations, with a concentration of hotels, resorts, and holiday residences along the beachfront. The Diani–Ukunda road connects the area to the A14 Likoni–Lunga Lunga highway, which links the South Coast to Mombasa via the Likoni ferry crossing. Ukunda Airstrip (Diani Airport) provides scheduled domestic flights to Nairobi and Mombasa. The area falls under the jurisdiction of Kwale County Government and the Diani Beach Management Authority for beach-use regulations.
